After requests for larger capacity, than the current 1500-mm (60-in) precipitation gauges, Geonor, Inc. developed the T-200BHC or T-200B High Capacity precipitation gauge. The T-200BHC has the ability to collect 3000 mm (120 in) of liquid precipitation before servicing is required. Developed for use at remote sites with high annual precipitation this ability reduces the time and cost of servicing remote stations by reducing the necessary visits to remote locations.

There are units currently deployed and being tested by the USGS (Truckee, CA) and Idaho Power.
